Join a Bible Study
Wednesday Bible Study meets every week at 11:00 am in the Damascus Room. Come and join us for fellowship and discussions.
We also offer a Zoom Bible study every Wednesday at 2:30 pm. It’s a way to study the scripture and teachings of the bible for the sermon that week with Dr. Rev. Norman Fowler. Please contact the church office for more details.
Volunteer
Westview loves giving back to the community and every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month we use a drive line process. Shoppers drive up (or walk up) to get food during the hours of 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Shoppers will receive standard prepacked bags of food.
Volunteers are needed on the Sunday and Monday preceding the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month to set up and pre-pack food. On the second and fourth Tuesdays, volunteers load food into the shopper vehicles. Packing of food continues on Tuesdays (because of the volume needed). Sunday, Monday and Tuesday volunteers also prepare an abundance of cardboard and plastic for recycling. Wednesday volunteers manage Community Distribution.
Affiliations
We are a congregation in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Presbytery of Plains and Peaks.
Our church is led by elders. Clergy are called “teaching elders” or ministers of Word and Sacrament. Lay people elected as elders each year by the congregation are called “ruling elders.” They serve three year terms and serve regardless of gender, race, or sexual orientation.
