Youth

Teens face many challenges day-to-day. Their world is constantly changing. It is our goal to point youth to the God who never changes, loves them unconditionally, and will always be there for them. We work alongside parents to help young men and women know Jesus intimately, read His Word, share and defend their faith, and serve others.

Connecting Points for Youth

  • On Sunday Evening

    Youth Group

    6-8 p.m., September through May

    Grades 6-12

Every Sunday, all youth, grades 6-12, are invited to a fun, wacky and action packed night at the church, unless otherwise posted.

    Youth Group schedule

    6-6:15 p.m. Socializing and snacks

6:15-7:15 p.m. Announcements, worship, and Bible study

7:15-8 p.m. Active games or socializing

The discussion/study groups are Bible focused with an emphasis on how the Scripture relates to youth individually, how it relates culturally, what they might have learned from it, and how they can apply what they’ve learned. Currently we are using The Story as the basis of our study discussions. Our goal is to help youth learn that the Bible is a guide for all ages at all times.

  • Youth Band
Westview’s Youth Band leads worship each week during Youth Group. The band offers popular Christian songs with a lot of energy and praise to God. If you like to sing, play an instrument, or jump and dance to the glory of God, then Youth Band is for you! Learn more.

During the week

Chris is around most days to drop by to talk, throw a Frisbee, play a video game or just to hang out. He is unavailable on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Check out the calendar link below to see when we’re hanging out as a group.
