Summer Family Campout

This year's Family Campout is July 16-18, at the Fort Collins Lakeside KOA. Contact our campout hosts, Denese & Phil Watts, to sign up.

Lakeside has plenty of activities for the whole family! Among them are bumper boats, paddle boats, miniature golf, swimming pool, tennis court-sized, rubber trampolines, and a movie room.

The tent area and cabins are clustered under a giant canopy of trees, all overlooking the lake. Three RV sites even have their own hot tubs!

Also, we'll have a covered dinner area that seats 250! Come up for the Saturday BBQ potluck, whatever the weather; they have an enclosed meeting area that has its own kitchen, just in case we need it.

2010 Vacation Bible School

Westview's Vacation Bible School is coming, August 2-6! Children, ages 3 (toilet-trained) through 5th grade, are welcome to attend. Registration is $10 per child or a maximum of $25 per family.

Women's Retreat 2010

September 24-26 - Registration Deadline: August 1

The Women's Retreat registration deadline (August 1) is quickly approaching. Don't miss out on this opportunity to attend our 2010 retreat at 2009 prices!!! The retreat will be September 24-26.

Rev. Ashley Seaman will be our special guest and will be coming to share her many gifts with us. She currently serves as pastor at North Presbyterian Church and at The Threshold, an ecumenical and contemplative outreach of the Denver Presbytery. Aside from her theological studies background, Ashley's life experiences have helped in training her to give spiritual direction.

This year's retreat, "Finding Spiritual Direction at the Turning Points," will give opportunity for you to explore your questions about coping with change, feeling God's presence, and finding purpose and passion in a Christian life. Discover new ways to look at Scripture through spiritual practices. Share in the gift of music provided by Cynthia Fox. There also will be time for conversation, yoga, dance, hiking, snoozing, reading, and solitude at Highlands Retreat Center in Allenspark. The weekend is yours!
