Scott was born and raised in the small town of Minden, Nebraska, before earning a Bachelor's degree in English Education at Sterling College, a Master's degree in 20th Century British and American Literature at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and a Master's of Divinity from Dubuque Theological Seminary. Scott was called to serve Westview in November 2011, in his sixth year in ordained ministry. He loves the variety and breadth of ministry, preaching, teaching, connecting in personal visits, and serving "hands-on" in mission projects. Scott was drawn to Westview because of their shared passion for mission and their heart for seeking Christ through study and care. Scott also loves spending time with his family (trying to keep up with his wife, Julie, and son, Joshua), keeping up with the Chicago Cubs, and making trips up into the mountains.

Chris came to Westview in 2001 after graduating from Eastern University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry. A young, energetic, passionate youth minister, Chris enjoys working with youth in many different arenas: playing guitar with the Youth Band, networking the computers for group game play, gathering the kids for a fun game of Frisbee or football, heading up youth mission trips across the United States, or leading Sunday worship and study at Youth Group. Chris always has a smile on his face, a serving heart and a passion for Christ!

A Minnesota native, Robert moved to Colorado in 1996 to take care of his father. He has used his experience as a cook and shift manager as well as his education in religious studies and computer science to become a very well-rounded guardian and keeper of Westview. In his 11 years as custodian, Robert has learned to stay calm, while being helpful and flexible, and working with a wide variety of people and expectations.
Heather’s Bachelor of Science in elementary education may have contributed to her ability to multi-task and be organized, but it is the intangibles that cannot be taught that really qualify her for her position. Her cheerful smile and friendly greeting for everyone entering the church office are a tremendous asset. Those in need are encouraged and comforted by her caring and compassionate nature. Her willingness to “go the extra mile” ensures that the work always gets done.
At Westview, our Elders work with the pastor and other staff to strengthen and nuture the faith and life of our congregation. The Deacons minister to those who are in need – the sick, the friendless and those in distress in our congregation and in our community.
